# Window ordering guide

Planning to order new windows but unsure how the process works and what to expect at each step? This guide covers the whole journey - from the first conversation to finished, accepted windows in your home.

## Submitting an enquiry

The process starts with an initial enquiry - by phone, through the enquiry form on our website, or by uploading your project drawings to our AI analysis tool. Even at this stage we can give a first indication of suitable solutions.

## Consultation

A specialist gets to know your needs, the specifics of your house and your priorities - budget, material, design, energy efficiency. This conversation prepares the ground for an accurate site survey.

How to prepare: photograph the existing windows from inside and outside, roughly measure the openings, and note which windows are the priority.

## Precise site survey

A specialist visits the site and takes precise measurements of every opening. This step is critical - accurate measurements are what ensure the ordered windows fit each opening perfectly.

## Preparing an individual offer

Based on the measurements and your wishes, we prepare a concrete offer - with the material, glazing and colour specification, plus a clear price and lead time.

## Order confirmation and manufacturing

Once the offer is confirmed, manufacturing starts according to the precise measurements. Standard lead times: PVC windows 4-6 weeks, aluminium windows 6-8 weeks. The lead time can vary depending on order size, the chosen profile and seasonal workload, so the exact date is confirmed in the offer.

## Delivery and installation

The windows are delivered and installed by a professional team. Installation includes precise sealing, correct fixing, and fitting of reveals and window sills.

## Quality check and handover

After installation we check how the windows work - opening, sealing, airtightness. Handover comes with documented quality confirmation.

## Aftercare

The process does not stop at installation - the standard service includes a comfort check shortly after installation and a follow-up visit later to make sure everything works as intended.

## How long does the whole process take?

The time from the first conversation to finished installation depends on the size of the order. Planning ahead - for example, before the heating season - avoids rushing and makes sure the house is ready in time.
